 Description:  The Highway Improvement Program provides a portion of funding included in the Proposed Highway Improvement Program. The Program will be financed through local, state, and federal funding. A large portion of the funding will finance projects on the state highway system as well as projects on local streets and highway systems. Specific improvements include highway and bridge improvements and construction, as well as safety and traffic improvements and congestion mitigation.
